In farmland operations, tractors can play many roles, especially when spring plowing is coming. How do you maintain and maintain tractors during slack? Because there is liquid in the liquid battery and cooling system of the tractor, these two working parts are very important. The following points must be done well!
1. First, check the casing of the tractor battery to see if there is any electrolyte leakage. Daily inspection must do this well, and if there is leakage, it must be replaced in time. If the shell is normal, you need to carefully clean the oxides on the surface of the battery with hot water, but the most important thing is that water cannot leak into the inside of the battery from the vent hole. After cleaning, wait for it to dry. You can use sandpaper to polish the contact surface between the pole and the street. Check whether the fixing screws on the joint are tightened to ensure that the tractor has sufficient current to pass through when it starts.
2. Then check the voltage of the tractor battery. When checking the battery voltage, it is necessary to start the engine several times in an environment where the engine maintains a normal temperature and the starter technology is in good condition. If it is smooth and smooth after several starts, it means that the battery of the tractor is in good condition and the voltage is normal; but if it is not smooth after several starts, or the speed of the engine is gradually reduced, it means that the voltage of the battery is already in a state of depletion. Need to recharge.
3. Then check the liquid level and specific gravity of the battery electrolyte. Generally speaking, the height of the electrolyte needs to be 10-15cm higher than the top of the plate. When adjusting the height, you should add distilled water and/or electrolyte supplement; you must not directly add tap water or electrolyte, which will damage the battery. As for the specific gravity of the electrolyte, because the specific gravity of the electrolyte in the battery is too low, not only can it not provide electric energy, but it may also cause the battery to be scrapped due to freezing cracks in low temperature environments such as winter. When adjusting the specific gravity of the electrolyte, the battery must be fully charged in advance before adjustment; in addition, too high a concentration of sulfuric acid will shorten the life of the battery.
1. Similarly, the inspection of the cooling system of the tractor should start from the appearance. What needs to be checked is whether there is any leakage in the waterproof port of the water pump, the water tank cover, the drain hole, and the thermostat joint. If there is a leak, check the cause immediately. Then is to confirm the freezing point of antifreeze. Generally speaking, the antifreeze should be selected according to the lowest temperature in the operating area. Generally, the freezing point is 5°C-10°C lower than the lowest temperature in the working environment.
2. Then pay attention to the position of the liquid level of the antifreeze. The proper height is generally about 10mm from the water tank filling port. If you want to adjust the liquid level, you usually add antifreeze according to the standard scale indicated on the water tank, but you can’t add too much, because you need to leave enough room for thermal expansion to the water tank.
3. Finally, check the thermostat of the tractor cooling system. The long-term operation of the tractor engine at abnormal temperature due to the abnormal operation of the thermostat will shorten the life of the engine. More importantly, this thermostat must never be removed. Otherwise, generally within 20,000 to 30,000 kilometers, the engine will be scrapped.
